Atty's First Bedtime Story 🦥

Big news from down the road (in Edinburgh). On Monday, Scotland welcomed its very first baby sloth - a wee boy named Atty, born at Edinburgh Zoo to first-time parents Nico and Feira. Named in honour of Sir David Attenborough (who picked the sloth as the animal he'd most like to be), Atty is currently doing what all newborn sloths do best: clinging to mum, blinking slowly, and being unbearably cute.

We can't let this pass unmarked. So we're launching a rapid one-week competition: write Atty his first bedtime story.

Max 500 words. Any style. Cosy, funny, magical, mischievous - whatever you'd whisper to a baby sloth at the end of his very long first week. The winner will receive a sloth plushie, and the story will be featured across StorySloth (and we'll be doing our best to get it in front of the keepers at Edinburgh Zoo too).
