Introduction
Bounce. Boing!
"I'm doing it Mic, I'm flying!" A little girl shouted. She was short, stubby and a little chubby which meant learning to fly should've been simple.
"No, not quite Agi. I guess you can try another time or we will be late for the train." Spoke out a deep voice. It was Mic, a large wolf who just did not know how to stress. His fur was a mix of brown and green stripes which blended perfectly into the Flaming Forest where he lived.
Agi, who only knew how to panic quickly flung off the bouncing moss and onto the not so bouncy one. "Mic!" "What is the time?" Agi huffed while her ginger curls flung about . "Oh I swear if we miss the train again... I... I'm going to cry."
Mic looked at her in confusion and rolled his serpent like eyes. He took a long deep breath in. Then a longer one out before starting, "We have never missed anything, let alone a train..." He took a big step towards a small clearing filled with tulips while nudging Agi.
Agi, busy with all sorts of worries, turned bright red and began mumbling, " How could I forget, I never forget!" "Wait, how long does it take to get there.... I cannot even fly so it's going to take forever."
Mic kept pushing her for about 15 minutes until she stopped like a thorn in a thumb.
"Mic, we need to get going now." Agi swung round and stomped her little burgundy flats onto a rock. They were perfectly matched to her olive overalls and diamond earrings.
And before Mic could tell her that he had nudged them all the way to the station she began " Oh!"... " Well we're already here, and with over 1 hour to spare." She turned back around, flicking hair into Mic's wide open mouth. "Why, I was worried for nothing, no wonder you didn't say anything"
Mic would usually feel great anger if he was with anyone else, but Agi being who she was meant he felt indifferent, a rare sighting in wolves from Moonpit.
Huffff. " Yes we are Agi." said Mic, his face stern and focused on something ahead.
Agi on the other hand was thrilled to be at the station. Silver swirls outlined the grand blue dome, which was built just right, so that anyone looking from above would see a glistening lake. She ran about making percussion on the glass floor with a delicate smile of satisfaction across her freckled face.
Mic however remained still. Eyes unmoved. Latched onto something in the distance. Wolves would usually be looking at prey or observing a predator, but Mic didn't quite fit the label 'Wolf'. He did not eat meat nor plant and fed off something else. Agi of course was unaware of this, despite being his only friend.
