When life deals us an extremely low blow
Who do you turn to.. Who is wise to know
Ask of me a helping hand
Do not bury your fears within the sand
I can lend a warming smile or two
It costs me nothing and it's all for you
My ear is bent toward your direction
Shout, cry and ask too many a question
I may not carry all of the answers here
Yet my wealth of caring is all very clear
Whatever time and tide of need
Please call upon me I am your friend indeed
