If I had a Trillion Dollars

If I had a trillion dollars
How easy would it be
To think of no-one else
Except for little me?
I could invade a planet
They say that Mars is fine
For humans to inhabit
And spend a little time.
First they’d build a castle
The slaves, I’d brought from Earth
And work their fingers to the bone
As that, is all they’re worth
With their little bit of energy
Which is, all that would remain
They could make some robots
Who’d, maintain, my new domain
Humans would be soon extinct
I’d ensure, that they were dead
Except for me, of course
And the demons in my head
A Universal king I’d be
A title I am taking
But, about the trillion dollars
Its, interest just keeps on making
What really is the point
Of having so much wealth?
Perhaps it could be shared
To, improve, global health
Maybe it could be spread
All across our precious globe
Until, self appointed kings
Would, reluctantly, dis-robe
I might, just be, dreaming
If I thought, they’d see reality
Then hand out all their money
To create, equality
If everyone was equal
And power and control had been erased
Possibly, benevolence and kindness
Could, somehow, become, saved
So lets eliminate the money
And survive with what we need
Instead of spreading hatred
Warmongering and greed.
