I am an ex-academic with two non-fiction, published books under my belt as a co-author. Fantasy has been my passion as a reader since I was a youngster, and now I'm equally passionate about the genre as a writer – and I’m on a mission to rediscover my magic. I recently published the third book in ‘The Rosa Chronicles’ trilogy – a cosy fantasy epic, but I also have a high fantasy duology published, plus a collection of linked novellas, and have had short stories included in other publications. I live in Scotland with my husband, and we also lived in England’s Westcountry for many years. I find the other-worldly landscape and history of both these areas a constant inspiration when I write. I’m fascinated by the idea of parallel worlds, and go out of my way to derive ways of bringing them to life.
