#Alyssa Novak was the first to die. In truth she was already dead for several days before the flood. Not that the townspeople knew that. In their minds it was obvious that if she was found at the bottom of a well after the great flood it meant that is what took her. No matter how decomposed she was when she was found. 'It was clear that the water had taken effect,' they said.

Olivia Novak was found next, despite how protective her family were of her after their eldest passed. She'd slipped away from the party to see where her sister had supposedly spent her last moments. The damp, mildew-scented well that had been creepy long before someone had drowned. And the girl had been leaning over it. 'She fell,' is the rumour that went around the village. 'It is tragic but true, she died like her sister.'

But that's not what happened to Alyssa. A man, rotten-toothed and grimacing, had come to her home. He'd piled her into his cramped car boot that already reeked of death. It was cold in the cramped space; the only heat was her breath. Until he had his way with her. Then once he was done with her he dumped her in the well. The flood was his perfect cover. There wasn't even an enquiry. Her body was moved but her soul remains trapped in that well.

Now she waits at the bottom of the well, waiting to tell others of her ordeal. And drags them to a watery death when they don't understand. No matter if they were her sisters or friends in life. There is no care in death.
