SHELTER TYPE: Repurposed Section Of Unused Underground Railway
DATE OF DISCOVERY: Dark 98, 105AC

DESCRIPTION: Found three miles north of New Liverpool beneath an abandoned residential district. Appears to have been constucted Pre-Catastrophe before the First Nuclear Annihilation War. Composed only of materials available to civilians during that time period, its outer hull corroded upon contact. No inhabitants survive. See Addendum-A for more details.

HOLDING PROCEDURE: As all items of value have been removed from the location, further holding has been deemed unnecesary

DDENDUM-A: Shelter Layout
The entrance descends half a mile underground. At its foot, a large open chamber extends another half mile in all directions. 5 camper vans sit empty, piles of dust laying in locations which likely held food supplies. At the far end of the chamber, 24 skeletons are piled up, liked a mass grave formed once food supplies ran out. A platform raises high above the ground on the rightmost wall. Atop it, a box containing various personal items sits next to a skelton covered in dust with several fractures covering its legs.
All 25 skeletons are too damaged or aged to properly identify. All personal items have been looted for analysis.

ADDENDUM-B: Personal Items
12 items were taken from the scene. Following a thorough analysis, the list of them has been attached below.

  • A set of 4 wedding rings.

  • A scrapbook supposedly containing family photos. All photos are too damaged to discern any further information.

  • Two necklaces whose gemstones have turned to dust.

  • A half-burnt copy of an unidentified Pre-Catastrophe dystopian novel.

  • A pair of small shoes, counted as a singular item.

  • A Pre-Catastrophe weddding dress.

  • A revolver loaded with a singular bullet.

  • A small letter, buried so deep in the chest it miraculously survived mostly unscaved, a transcript of which can be seen in Addendum-C.

ADDENDUM-C: Transcript
To my love,
I'm sorry it had to go out this way. I'll see you in the next world.
From, Allen
