Dear God,

I am going to church tomorrow

I have never been before

I hope to meet you there

Dear Lord,

I keep my Bible on my nightstand

And pray to you every night

I now have a new purpose

Dear Father,

Forgive me for I have sinned

But if you are our Savior

Why do good people die?

Dear Almighty,

I should’ve been reading scriptures

Instead I studied creation

And my faith is hanging by a thread

Dear God,

My studies have stopped

Yet my thoughts are neverending

But now I feel free

Knowing nothing at all
