¿Dónde pueden cobrar los autores de StorySloth?
El resumen del perezoso: Utilizamos un servicio de pago llamado Stripe para enviar los ingresos a los autores. Stripe admite actualmente pagos bancarios en 44 países de Europa, Norteamérica, Asia-Pacífico, Sudamérica y Oriente Medio. Si su país está en la lista siguiente, puede convertirse en autor verificado y recibir pagos mensuales directamente en su cuenta bancaria.
Si tu país no está en la lista, puedes seguir publicando historias en StorySloth, sólo que aún no podrás recibir pagos. Stripe se está expandiendo a nuevos países con regularidad, y actualizaremos esta página a medida que lo hagan.

Notas importantes
- Thailand & United Arab Emirates: Authors in these countries may need additional setup steps. Stripe requires manual review for accounts in these regions, which can take a little longer.
- Currency: All earnings are calculated in GBP (British Pounds). If your bank account is in a different currency, Stripe automatically converts the amount before it reaches your account. Stripe’s exchange rates are competitive, and any small conversion fee is handled by Stripe — not by us or your bank.
- Identity verification: To receive payouts, all authors must complete identity verification through Stripe. This is a legal requirement for anyone receiving payments and helps keep the platform safe for everyone.
- Tax responsibility: Earnings from StorySloth may be taxable income in your country of residence. We recommend checking with a local tax authority or accountant if you’re unsure.
- My country isn’t listed: You can still create an account, publish stories, and build a readership. When Stripe adds support for your country, you’ll be able to start the verification process and begin earning right away.
